Concrete questions, answered

What warranty do you offer?

Workmanship warranty terms are provided in writing with your estimate — ask your project manager and we’ll walk you through exactly what’s covered.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — MN Contractor Reg. #IR811805, and fully insured. We're happy to provide proof of insurance with your quote.

How much does a concrete driveway or patio cost?

It depends on size, access, base condition, and finish (broom, exposed aggregate, stamped). We provide free on-site estimates with firm written pricing — no guessing from photos.

When is concrete season in Minnesota?

Roughly April through November, depending on ground and air temperatures. Spring slots fill fast — quotes booked over winter get first place in the spring schedule.

How long before I can use new concrete?

Foot traffic after 24–48 hours, vehicles after about 7 days. Concrete reaches full design strength over roughly 28 days.

Will my new concrete crack?

All concrete moves; the craft is controlling where. Proper base compaction, correct thickness, reinforcement, and control joints cut on schedule keep cracking inside the joints — not across your slab.

Can I use salt on new concrete?

Avoid all de-icers the first winter — use sand for traction. After the first year, use a concrete-safe de-icer sparingly and reseal on schedule.

Do you handle permits?

We flag when your city requires a permit (common for driveway widening, right-of-way sidewalks, and larger shed pads) and coordinate the process with you.

Do you do repairs, or only new pours?

Both. Step resurfacing, crack repair, and apron-only replacement are routine work for us — and if a repair is smarter than replacement, that is what we will recommend.
